Luxembourg
In Luxembourg I took a picture of a forest that I used for several paintings. In each painting I used this same photograph but adapted it to my needs. There's yet another painting I made after this trip. This is a painting of a church.

In the "Red Forest"
and the "Winter Forest" I played with depth by
using the possibilities of a triptych. Another
kind of playing with space is the studio painting. Here you've got the
interior, the street and the forest. Each of these parts have their own
space within the same painting.
"Rozendaal City III" shows depth through its layered
structure.
